Human Digits, a trade name of M2-D2 B.V., considers careful handling and security of your personal data of great importance. Personal data will therefore be carefully processed and protected. In this privacy statement you can read how we do that.

What personal data do we process?

We process your personal data when you choose to provide it to us, for example when you schedule a video call, request a quote, send us a contact request, do business with us, use on of our services or apply for a job with us. We may then process the following personal data from you:

  • First and last name
  • E-mail address
  • Telephone number
  • Your business functional area
  • Company name, sector
  • Products and services ordered by you
  • Other information you provide to us, such as project information, your CV

We do not process personal data about your surfing habits, location data, etc. For more information, see our cookie consent center.

For what purpose do we process your personal data?

We process your personal data to:

  • Respond to contact request
  • Schedule a call with you
  • Provide you with a quote
  • Process your application
  • Comply with laws and regulations

We base the processing of your personal data on the following legal bases:

  • When responding to a contact request, quote request or a request for a call, we base ourselves on the legitimate interest
  • When processing your information for providing services, we base ourselves on the contract we have jointly agreed upon
  • When applying for a job, we base ourselves on the permission you have given us
  • When complying with laws and regulations we base ourselves on these laws and regulations
How long will your personal data be kept?

We will keep your personal data no longer than strictly necessary to realize the purpose for which your data is collected:

  • If you send us a contact or quote request or a request for a call, we will keep your personal data for one year because of our internal quality system. We can learn from everything you tell us. After that your personal data will be removed
  • If we provide you with our services, we process your personal contact data for as long as the services are provided plus a period of three years thereafter. For processing personal data for which you are the controller and we are the processor, we agree on a data processing agreement with separate conditions
  • If you apply to us, we process your personal data as long as the application process is running. Then your personal data is removed, unless you give us permission to keep your personal data for another year, because a new position might become available soon. If you do not want this, we will remove your personal data
  • If we retain your data to comply with laws and regulations, we will retain your personal data for as long as it is required by those laws and regulations
Do we share your personal data with third parties?

We do not sell your information to third parties and will only provide your information to third parties if this is necessary to fulfil the above prescribed purposes of processing. We have an agreement with companies that process your data on our behalf to ensure the same level of security and confidentiality of your data as we apply ourselves.

How can you access, modify, delete or receive your personal data in digital format?

You have the right to access, modify, delete and receive your personal data from us in digital format. In addition, you have the right to withdraw any consent for data processing or to object to the processing of your personal data. You can send a request to that effect to privacy@humandigits.com. To ensure that the request is made by you, we may ask you for further identification. We will respond to your request as quickly as possible, and in any event within four weeks. Once your request has been processed, the information you provided for identification purposes will be deleted.

How do we handle personal data of persons under 16 years of age?

We do not intend to collect personal data on children under the age of sixteen. However, we cannot control whether for example someone who sends us a contact request is over sixteen. We therefore recommend that parents be involved in the online activities of their children in order to prevent data being collected on children without parental permission. If you are convinced that we have collected personal data on a child under sixteen without such consent, please contact us at privacy@humandigits.com. We will then delete this personal data immediately.

Do we engage in automated decision making?

Automated decisions are decisions made by computer programs or systems, without the involvement of an employee of Human Digits. We do not make decisions based on automated processing that could have (significant) consequences for individuals.

How do we secure your personal data?

We take the protection of your data seriously and ensure appropriate measures are taken to prevent misuse, loss, unauthorized access, unwanted disclosure and unauthorized changes. If you feel that your data is not properly protected or there are indications of abuse, please contact privacy@humandigits.com.

What about third-party websites?

This privacy statement does not apply to third party websites that are linked to our website or that have directed you to our website. We cannot guarantee that these third parties will handle your personal data in a reliable and secure manner. We advise you to read the privacy statements of these websites before using them.

What if I have questions about this privacy statement?

How can you file a complaint about us?

If you have a complaint about how we handle your personal data, you can express your complaint via privacy@humandigits.com. But you also have the possibility to file a complaint with the national supervisory authority of the European country where you live, or at the Dutch “Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens”.

How do we handle changes to this privacy statement?

We reserve the right to make changes to this statement. It is recommended that you consult this statement regularly so that you are aware of these changes.
